About Us:
Andrew Dahlke grew up in Central Washington as a farming kid. He competed in Xcountry and Tennis in high school.
During highschool and community college Andrew operated a small mowing and landscaping business where he had weekly mowing clients and also installed concrete curbing.
After graduating from Community College, Andrew moved to Moscow Idaho to attend the University of Idaho where he graduated with honors with a mechanical engineering degree. He then moved back to central Washington and went to work for a large construction manufacturer (Genie) designing aeriel work platforms.
Family health caused the Dahlke family to eventually move to the Waldport Oregon area in 2017 where the clean fresh air and moist moderate climate helped Andrews wife and family. Andrew continued to work remotely for Genie up until the summer of 2026.
The desire to own his own business and be able to complete work himself (instead of always trying to tell others how and what to do), pushed Andrew to start "Good Steward Construction and Excavation" to get back to hands on work in person.
Andrew lives with his wife and kids in Waldport and is eager to help you with you construction and excavation projects.
